How The Men's Trip began...

Victor Humphrey
The Men’s Trip began in 2008, the year of Victor’s death, as an
honor to his last planned outing which was a fishing trip.
What made the planned fishing trip so special for Victor is co-worker he befriended
and bonded with over their love of fishing.
Nothing about this type of relationship would be considered
exceptional but for the fact that his co-worker had lived all his life and
had been taught by his family to be a devout racist.
Loving others despite the differences was instilled into Victor as
well as all the Humphrey children, by our family Matriarch,“BWare”.
With this mentality, Victor was able to not only convert the
hatred that his co-worker had in his heart to love but also convert other
members of the co-worker's family, including the man's father.
The co-worker and members of his family attended the first Men’s Trip
and maybe one other after that. Although, we don’t hear from
him much, he is still considered a friend of the family.
